Pastor Jason Anderson
Teaching Elder
Jason has been pastor at Hopewell since July 2018. He spent 20 years working in the public policy realm in Alabama and Mississippi, before receiving a call to pastoral ministry. Jason is a graduate (M.Div.) of Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi. While in seminary he served as pulpit supply to Old Lebanon Presbyterian (PCA) in Ackerman, Mississippi for 3 1/2 years.
Jason grew up in Gainesville, Georgia where he met his lovely bride, Cristy, of 32 years. Cristy plays piano for Hopewell and loves teaching ladies, young and old, how to sew.
Jason and Cristy have a daughter, Aeryn, and a mischievous cat named Bella and a barky old Dachshund named Buddy!
